Crumble Cave

Out the front of the Hive tapas restaurant and bar is a fun new pop up that we can’t get enough of. Crumble Cave serves one thing (and does it well), and that thing is crumble. 

Build your own perfect dessert, opting for a hot or cold crumble and stack it with toppings, sauces and custards of your choice. There’s even a completely vegan option – custard and all! 

Open from 11am to 10pm, this tasty little food truck is easily one of our new favourite places to get dessert in Brisbane.

Krazy Dessert Restaurant & Bar

With their fun neon lighting and pared-back interior, you might mistake Krazy Desserts Restaurant & Bar for a spot to stop in for just a drink.

But it’s about to get a whole lot sweeter than that. On the menu here you’ll find souffle pancakes, bubble waffles, crepes, shaved ice, cheese boards and more!

The drinks options are plentiful, ranging from specialty coffee, yoghurt smoothies, cocktails, wine, spirits and beer.

This Brisbane bar is the perfect place to visit with your bestie when you want to skip dinner and get straight to the good stuff.

Ze Pickle

The Ze Pickle gang are well known for their next-level flavour combinations and mouthwatering concoctions, so why should dessert be any different?

Known for sweet treats with edgy names that we’re not sure if we’re allowed to print in a Sitchu article, let us describe the concoctions to you instead.

Think deep-fried Oreo doughnuts drizzled in liquid Nutella, or baked brownie skillets served with decadent dulce de leche and ice cream.

There’s more to this dessert menu, and it doesn’t get any less extravagant, so don’t fill up on burgers!

Milki Desserts

Dedicated to sweet treats, Milki Desserts is one of the best dessert destinations Brisbane has to offer.

Our pick of the menu is the Bingsu bowl, a Korean shaved ice treat topped with soft serve and sweet sauces. It’s a feast for the eyes as well as the belly!

Boom Boom Room

For a dessert that sounds like something that belongs in your jewellery box, head into the city and underground into the moody ambience of the Boom Boom Room. 

This restaurant has a curated dessert menu with small plates, cocktails and apéritifs, but the Nitro Frozen Miso Chocolate Mousse takes centre stage here!

Boom Boom Room has a flair for the dramatic (we sense they’re keen to hold the official title for the best dessert in Brisbane), and that flair is not lost on this entertaining dish that sends a vapour pouring over the edges of the bowl as it freezes from nitrogen.

Le Bon Choix

The masters of their craft, Le Bon Choix create little works of art that melt in your mouth and will have you coming back for more.

Their famed macarons are worth travelling for, not to mention the pain au chocolat!

We tried to select their most iconic dessert, but we’d rather you visit them and sampled them all for yourself… they’re that good.

Sonder Dessert

When searching for the best dessert Brisbane has to offer, it doesn’t take long for Sonder’s name to appear.

Located in Sunnybank, a cultural and foodie mecca, Sonder pays homage to traditional and modern Japanese cuisine.

Highlighting Japan’s unique flavour profiles by using high-quality matcha, yuzu, beni imo and sakura, no detail is missed when it comes to crafting these delightful desserts.

Whilst their picture-perfect creations may look too good to eat, we strongly recommend you sample their range of floats, parfaits and specialty desserts.

Veganyumm

Have a late-night sugar craving? Head over to Everton Park to try some of the best dessert options the vegan scene has on offer!

You won’t be stuck for choice at Veganyumm, with cabinets stocked full of decadent rainbow galaxy brownies, rocky road brownies, adorable cupcakes and our personal favourite… tiramisu.

Wash your dessert down with a milkshake – our recommendation is the Biscoff flavour!

Veganyumm is open until 9pm most nights, so if it gets to the Netflixing hour and you haven’t gotten yourself a little treat… you know what to do.

Persone

Persone take their sweets seriously, which is why we think they’ve got the best dessert in Brisbane.

With six decadent dolce options on their menu, it’s close to impossible to select a favourite.

We’re giving special mention to the cannoli filled with custard, as well the classic tiramisu that heads up the dessert menu.
